The 7th General Assembly Meeting of the LibrarIN project took place on 29 September 2025 in Brussels, Belgium, hosted by The Lisbon Council at the Residence Palace.
This final physical meeting gathered all consortium partners to review progress across work packages, strengthen the collaborations developed throughout the project, and chart the course for its final phase.
As the project approaches its conclusion, discussions focused on key priorities to ensure impactful and sustainable outcomes:
- Progress with academic publications: securing strong scientific impact.
- Strengthen policy relevance: completing the final policy briefs and updating the LibrarIN Toolkit.
- Engage stakeholders: validating project results and organising policy-oriented events.
- Boost visibility: implementing a final communication push and outreach campaigns.
- Secure sustainability: ensuring the long-term use of the LibrarIN Toolkit and project results.
- Capture lessons learned: integrating insights into the final deliverables.
- Finalise reporting: preparing the periodic report and the 2nd Review Meeting to present achievements from the past 24 months.
The meeting concluded with guided library tours, organised for both LibrarIN consortium partners and Stakeholder Panel members who had travelled to Brussels for the High-Level Policy Roundtable “Next Generation Libraries: Bottom-Up, People-First and Purpose-Driven” and the final Stakeholder Panel Meeting on 30 September.
Participants split into two groups to visit two emblematic Brussels libraries, Muntpunt Library and RoSa vzw Library, where they explored innovative approaches to community engagement and knowledge sharing.
The day closed with a working dinner at Ginette Bar, offering an opportunity for informal networking and reflection among LibrarIN partners and Stakeholder Panel members, marking a fitting conclusion to an inspiring and productive gathering.
